Samsung SyncMaster 191T monitor (Help Needed Please)

Hi Folks,

I returned to my PC tonight after having a quick cuppa only to find the above 19" flat screen monitor completely dead. No power was getting through to the Samsung. Thought it might be the fuse but this was not the case. I ran the usual and obvious checks to ensure that the connecting leads were all firmly in place. I have no idea what the problem is. I have only had this screen for about 18 months and it worked perfectly up to tonight.

Has anyone any ideas of what the problem might be and will it be expensive to repair? Is there anything else I can try at my end before leaving it down to the repair shop? Can these LCD monitors be economically repaired or will I have to cut my losses and fork out for another one?

Any thoughts or views on this will be greatly appreciated.
