AMD Thoroughbred Core

Is it possible to use an AMD (say, 1800) Tbred Core on a board that came out before Tbred came out? I have a spare Soyo K7V-DRAGON+ laying around, thought I'd put a PC together. Can I use a Tbred in it?

No, I mean I just want to know if Tbreds are backwards compatible with pre-Tbred chipsets.
