Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard Not Working

Hi,

I've been using a Wireless Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard for over a year without any problems. Recently, I had a major problem with my computer and reinstalled from a week-old backup using Acronis True Image. This worked fine except that my keyboard no longer worked. I have tried to reinstall it many times, but the Microsoft Keyboard software always says it can't find it. I've tried changing the batteries and moving the Tranceiver and Keyboard about the place, but nothing seems to help. Please could someone offer some suggestions?

Did you try unplugging it, booting up, then shut back down, replug it, and boot up again to see if it is recognized? Also did you try other ports to see if maybe you have a bad one?

Thanks for your advice. I've just tried doing that, but I'm afraid it hasn't helped.
