Hard disk not booting, in second computer

I have been having a problem with my `putter. The problem is this… After having a crash, I had to reinstall Win’ Xp…. However it just went in to a continuous loop. So after trying to find what the problem was with this looping and finding none. I decided to take my hard disk out and put it in my second `putter. Once I did that, XP reinstalled perfectly. When I transferred the disk back over to the other computer it would not boot. XP says chkdsk for errors. However I know that there is none on the disk. I have tried every thing from checking if it was a graphics card prob’ , it wasn’t. I have tried reconfuring the bios and that dosen’ help either! I must be over looking something simple PLEASE HELP!

if you installed XP to the drive in one computer, it usually wont boot in a different computer..it's Microsoft's anti piracy measures.
as for it not installing xp when it is in the computer in question, ask these questions:
is it being overclocked?
enter the bios and load setup defaults...video caching and other settings will cause problems with installs.
If you have a boot manager...seagate drives used to come with one, that if you installed it you had to wait for it's boot options to select what you wanted to do, or it just wont work, some motherboards do the same thing.
