PC Crash - No boot up/No lights/Totally Dead

Hi all,

I have an Advent T9401 (specs at bottom of page) and was running a game yesterday (Star wars galaxies) and the PC switched itself off mid flow.

The PC will not start back up again (Ive checked cables etc), no lights on at all BUT the fan on the X600XT starts up very slowly and continues for about 15 secs and then shuts off. This is the only action there is!

Any help would be very much appreciated!

John

process of elimination...you going to have to check pretty much all your stuff till you find the problem, it could be any of your hardware, motherboard,CPU,ram, video card, power supply....even the cmos battery could be a problem.

Red face power supply malfunction?

It sounds like it's probably a power supply problem, considering that no lights come on ect..
