Hey, I'd like some advice:
I had an old Dell Dimension V333c computer which I'm taking apart and seeing what I can tweak. I have to know what it can handle RAM/CPU Speed, etc. I can't seem to find specs online and from other discussion boards it looks like Dell is notorious for not being upgrade-friendly... (at least if its not them doing it
)
Anyone know where I can find out some good stuff on this board. I have a couple IDing #s... I'm not sure it it'll help any of you: RW A03 and AA 713802-211.
Additionally, I have memory in 2 speeds, 133 and 100. Can I place 133 RAM in a mobo with a speed of 100? Will it just be slowed down to 100, and otherwise work normally/adequetely? What should I be wary of?
This mobo was a slot1 with a celeron 233mhz processor, Can I replace it with a Pentium 2 533Amhz cpu? I imagine I have to change the mobo settings, but I need to know how, so give me some clues on how to find info about my mobo...
