Network Card driver update --> no longer working

I have Win XP proffesional .. and what i can find for the network card is that it is VIA Technologies, current driver is now at 2.66.0.290

The problem is that I updated the driver...leading to me not being able to acess the internet at all. I tried rolling the driver back to what it is currently at but with no luck.

I have run through everything in the provided troubleshooter and am now lost as to what i can do.

Problem cannot be the router as i am posting this from another machine on the same connection.

I am lost as to what I can do to fix my network card,

Try uninstalling the drivers. Physically remove the card.(with power off) restart puter without card. shutdown again. Reinstall the card & XP should find it for you. If XPs drivers don't work reinstall yours.
