Exclamation mx900 keyboard & mouse stoped working

Okay, my MX900 mouse and keyboard stopped working, and it is beyond my knowledge on what I need to do to repair it. After following several windows Xp trouble shooting procedure for USB and mouse connection, I can not get my Bluetooth hub to reconize my bluetooth keyboard or mouse. Using google, I have been researching wardriving, bt security vulnerability, logitech website trouble shooting pages, and various websites in hope of trying to solve the issue myself. I don't know if this is useful information or not, but I have been using the mouse and keyboard ever since the day the MX900 came out, and it has worked okay with very few issues. Currently I am using a corded mouse and keyboard via usb. I am a bit paranoid right now, and have have done a full Norton antivirus and Adaware SE scan on my pc. It seems that I have no viruses of anykind.

Notes

- All batteries are fully charged
- All cables are checked.
- USB ports are operating and detecting the mx900 devices

Symptoms

- Mouse and keyboard stopped working a few nights ago
- the mx900 hub does not connect the keyboard or mouse
- When tring to connect the mouse to the hub the all of green idicator led lights remain off except for the middle blue light
- My D-link dl-624 rounter has also been inoperatable at the same time my mouse and keyboard became inoperatable, and the router disconects internet connection every 40-50 seconds.

Im not quite sure what is going on here, alot of things stopped working on me simutaneously : [

I hope somebody can help me out, this seems to be my last resort.

One other important thing I should note is that the mx900 mouse does not work on any other pc that I have.

Try the free online virus scanners such as panda and trend micro, norton may have been corrupted. Also did you check for updates to your drivers, do you use iTouch. Try the scans in safe mode, and disable system restore before doing the scans.

Okay I borrowed a my friend's bt adaptor to test my keyboard and mouse. The keyboard and mouse worked fine. Everything works fine except for the mx900 bt hub, so all I need to replace is the hub. I no longer have a reciept for my mx900 combo set, so I have to go through some headache to do an RMA,sigh.

Thanks for the suggestion Book

Everything is all cool now. I called Logitech support the second time and had a nice chat to nice lady. She spoke to her supervisor, and her supervisor authorized her to ship me a new set of mx900 for bluetooth to my house at no charge, and I do not need to ship in my old logitech set.
