USB 7port hub problem with Zoom usb Adsl

hi everyone,

Before i pay USB 4 port, everything working with online ZOOM USB ADSL so i need more plug in for 6 so i pay new Belkin USB 7 port (F5U027u), everything ok BUT wont working with Zoom Usb Adsl, its say 'usb hub power exceeded, the hub does not have enough power available to operate the zoom usb adsl interface.'



why?

im grateful if anyone help me.

You'll have to buy an external USB hub with it's own mains power supply (also called a 'Powered Hub'). Plug the hub into a spare USB port, connect the hub to the mains supply with the supplied cable, now plug the ADSL modem into the hub. The modem will now draw power from the mains and not from the internal hub.
