Recently my comp is crashing an awful lot. I could be working on something and i hear a click coming from the computer. Its the same click ive heard when ive had a power cut and the hard drive turns off. I have 2 hard drives 1 40gb windows and 180gb hd with all my movies music etc on it. I think this one is acting wierd and sometimes if i try to access something from it, it will make a click and the hard drive light remains on, 5 seconds later the comp freezes, or comps up with a blue screen simply saying "Hard Error"
Now i dont want to beleive its the hd because im terrified of loosing data. However the computer can run without crashing for a while. I copied 10 gigs of data over to a spare old comp and the hard drive didnt faulter once. Yet if i try to do day to day things it will. Any advice would be very very helpful!!
