When do you actualy get this message?
Is it when you click on 'Burn compilation' or does it happen when you add tracks etc?

NERO DVD Burning Problem

Hi,

I am also new to this website and new to DVD Burning..

I am using Philips DVD+R ...DVD's and I am very sure, My laptop has DVD Burner...I am not sure, if I require any special Drivers to download and install...to make DVD Burner Active...

I downloaded Nero StartSmart and Used the option of Make your Own DVD Video..

And Then for trial I selected couple of Downloaded Hindi Songs...

It comes to a stage where it says Burn To Device,

Sony DVD+-RW DW-D56A

It Does Create Menus and Transcoding streams...

After this, The Second action it should take is Buring Project onto the disk...but instead of that, it gave me couple of errors.

First Time When I tried it said, The DRIVE is ALREADY IN USE...

Hi, That 79 minutes on an 80 min disk looks suspicious. Any burner needs to write more on the disk than just the data. Not using NERO at present, but seems like it should be telling you if that's what is wrong. Try burning less to see. Maybe? Luck, Jim

Hola,
The administrators in my office installed the Nero 6.6.0.19 in a XP Pro, and it works fine when it is acceded as administrator, but when I logged with my (advanced) user account, the nerostartsmart crashes.
The error report is:
AppName: nerostartsmart.exe AppVer: 2.0.0.29 ModName: shortcut.dll
ModVer: 2.3.82.2315 Offset: 0000977e

Can anybody help me with this?
Thank you!
Luis.
