i just started up my computer i just built and im trying to install xp but it doesnt recognize my hdd anywhere. when we go to try and do an fdisk it just says something about the drive not being detected. if anyone has some ideas that would be cool!

Go to the bios and make sure that it is configured there. Are you sure you have power going to the hard drive? Did you double check your connections?
