Please let me know if anyone has come across this... I've just re-built my pc... I was installing software and drivers from my dvd and also downloading from widows update. I don't know exactly when the drive went missing but it's gone...
On boot up, it scans the drive just fine as the Secondary Master. In device manager the drive doesn't exist. Under CD/DVD Drives all I see is my SCSI burner. I know the drive is supported, It's worked in all win os's including xp pro.
I tried a fix that looked like it may have worked but it didn't.
