Hard disks problem?
Everytime i turn on my computer, it freezes. Here's what happened, I was using DivX to watch some music videos, and then the blue screen came up. This was the first time, so i restarted. So now, everytime my computer boots up, it goes to a screen asking me wether I'd like to start it on normal mode, previous settings that worked, safe mode, safe mode with networking, and another safe mode which i don't remember right now. I clicked on everyone of them, they all froze on me.
1. All the Safe modes : when i click on it, a bunch of program loads, and it freezes on the list.
2. Normal mode : Once i click enter, it freezes.
3. The settings that worked previously : same thing, once i click on it the computer freezes.
I think this is a hardware problem because.. I don't think it's reading my C drive. So far I've tried using the start up disks, but i can never access my C drive. I was going to reformat using the Windows XP Professional Edition CD from the boot, but if i put it in, the boot up screen still goes to the options screen.
Can anyone help me? Sorry if i seem retarded in my post, im a computer nooooby. thanks.
