Mystery problem with LAPTOP, do you understand this...
I would be very grateful if someone could help me with this mystery laptop problem. Here's a mini log:
1. Had the AC adapter attached to my computer but it kept on losing power (going from a bright screen to a dull screen, one second it was on electrical power, the next -without touching it- it would switch to battery power).
2. I got annoyed and fiddled with it at the back, until I broke the motherboard that the power was attached to - and ripped open the wires of the AC adapter. Got a new AC adapter, but it didn't give it power, maybe because the motherboard is broken, not sure.
3. Took it to be fixed. They only fixed the motherboard, they didn't fix the original problem that made the power flicker.
4. Same problem happened again - with the power and with breaking the motherboard.
PROBLEM: What makes the power flicker?
Situation now: It will not let electricity through at all. So the laptop is dead.
Is the problem with the battery?
So far, all the professionals have explained the problems that I've inflicted on the laptop - but they won't even consider that it had an original problem. This problem is a MYSTERY.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
If you read this far, thank you for your patience.
