Mouse Pointer automatically moves ahead even when you are not using it

Hi, guys.

Whenever I leave my computer mouse, it's pointer on the screen tries to move in the upward direction of the screen. I feel it may be due to some trojan. What are you suggestion and any resolution for this issue.
