LAN Ip of my router

Dear forum

I don't know what the IP address of the router I have is. Someone has changed it and not told me.

DHCP is not enabled on it so i cannot even browse to it. Is there a utility out there which can help me find out what its address is while it is connected to my pc?

Many thanks

Turn off the router for 3 mins, let it clear the conections. Then turn it on again, do an: ipconfig /renew in command prompt then do an: ipconfig and look at the "Default Gateway", this should be your routers IP.

Sorry Blind!

Is this in an office or at home? Basically If you have physical access to it do a factory reset on it so it has the default settings.

Factory reset doesn't seem to work. Nothing happens.

I was hoping there would be some software which can scan for things that are not on the same subnet, but are physicaly attached...?

To find your router IP, you can visit my IP address script here. Or, you have to check your router settings and find it there. To find your computer's IP on the intranet, you can just use ipconfig.

Mercman90,

With all due respect, I don't think you have read the whole thread.
