Laptop Battery

The socket for charging my laptop is completely ruined and i cannot charge my laptop anymore and it is only a matter of time until it runs out for good. Are there any other ways of charging my laptop such as USb charge?
Or are there any ways to charge the batter when it is not plugged into the laptop???
Thanx
Snowy

Yes, you can use an external battery charger... an example of one that can be found here: http://store.yahoo.com/impactcompute...-170110-8.html.

try searching around google for a model that fits your specific lap top.
