Multimedia Audio Controller Problems

Hi when i get on my computer i have no sound at all i go into the drivers and next to Multimedia Audio Controller there is a yellow check mark i tired reinstalling it in safe mode and i also tried updateing what do i do so that i can get my sound back in my computer

You have a problem with the driver, this is why you see the yellow !. What kind of sound card? On board audio (built into the motherboard) or PCI? You can get the driver from the manufacturers web page. If you don't know what kind of sound card/audio it is, get Belarc Advisor (use google to find it) it will tell you.
