Monitor probs..

I have a Apple Multiscan (sony trinitron)

Its currently being used on my PC, now the problem is, every now and then, a little line will flash across the screen and it will resize vertically and then go back to normal.

Its really really messed up. Is there anyway to fix this? a driver maybe?

OK. You are using an Apple monitor with your Windows PC, right? And it plug&plays ok except for the line thing, right?

I've been using this monitor for over a year on my PC, the monitor is almost 10 years old I think and I think its bit the biscuit...

I changed my resolution size to see if it did anything, and it did nothing so I switched back to 1024, and well, now everything is blurry as all hell, the tops of the windows have a red glow and the bottom has a blue glow.

I know I am not using a proper driver because one could never be found. when the resolution is set, its all small in the middle and the view is stretched until it fits the whole screen heh..

awesome monitor this has been but I guess I'm going to have to settle for some NEC or somethin =\

found a neat looking site that sells monitors previously leased to businesses. who'da thunk it? merkortech is the name. i just looked through to copy the url, and saw an old dell with a P3 and is dual processor capable for 195 bucks. even has a 9GB scsi drive still in it. anyway, look through the descriptions for each one that looks interesting- especially towards the bottom of the description. they grade the quality as grade a, b, or c. a being in the best shape. mind you, these are previously used, but mostly at businesses.
