No screen no BIOS beep code, wtf??? can someone please help me with this???

Hi, I have a Vaio PCV-rx650

Recently my hard drive crashed and I couldn’t do a PC restore. After carefully checking, I cleaned out all the dust from the computer and also found out that the computer was overheating. Since its three years old I decided to go and buy a PCI slot cooling fan and new thermal compound along with a new hard drive. Then I installed the cooling fan, and put on the new thermal compound and the hard drive according to instructions. Now my computer doesn’t turn on at all and there’s no BIOS beep codes, and the screen is blank. Can someone please help me with this????

Does the Power supply fan run at all ? do you hear the hard drive spinning ??? I would try to unplug the CD ROM- Hard drive and anything the consumes power (not MOBO)... just to see if power supply works at all.

Ummm.... the power supply works without a problem... could it be that the processor is fried, is there any way to tell??
