No Sound - AMD64

Greeting guys, I hope someone here can help me out.

Recently I purchased an HP dv5020us and upgraded to XP Pro. I lost all audio. When I look in device manager all I see is audio codecs, legacy audio drivers, legacy video capture, media control devices, video codecs.

When I go to control panel -> sounds evrything is disabled and greyed out, it says "no audio device".

I ran Everest, the mother board is dv5000. Running ATI Radeon xpress 200chipset. I downloaded all drivers and utilities ati had to offer to no avail.

HELP!!!!!! thanks in advance.

Did you install the 32 or 64 bit version of Windows?
