Generic Host Process for Win32 Problem

My spare computer has been re-starting at random, this occurs online and offline, it is not a heat issue, temps are 40c and 47c approximately, the HDD is warm but not hot, I tried another HDD but got the same problem. Sometimes I get this message (Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and need to close) it closes the page and sometimes re-starts

Any help is appreciated

Specs = Epox 8K5A2 512/2100/DDR Duron 1300 G/F2 MX400

Wat OS ? If its XP is it SP2 fully patched with ALL security updates...
Have u tested for any virus / spyware ? suggest u do an online scan even if u have security software installed..(see links in my sig)

I solved the problem, I cleaned the RAM, now all is OK
