Please can someone help!!!
I am noice/medium where computers are concerned. Here's my problem. Myself and my son did a new build pc. We connected everything and all was well the motherboard was set to auto so everything loaded fine. I installed the operating system and everything was running fine. It booted up great and was running great. Then today we put a game in the drive and it sent the monitor mental. My son swithced the pc off as it froze. The we got to the bios screen and he went into the bios and changed a setting from user difined to 2800 since then it won't even boot to the bios. Whne we connected the monitor up nothing happened. It was like the monitor was on standby. Please does anyone have any idea what has gone wrong.
P.S i did tell him not to change bios settings{but he's one of those teenagers who does not listen}:

Usually there is a jumper on the BIOS that allows you to reset it....read the motherboard manual to see where is it located (I may be able to dig out the MOBO manual on-line for you if you provide the made and model number)

Hi, SnowMonkey is correct. If you can't find the jumper you can also reset the BIOS SETUP, by removing the Battery with the AC power disconnected. Wait a couple of hours and put it back. Your BIOS SETUP will be back to the default setting that you started with. Luck, Jim
