go to the control panel, then to administrative tools>computer managment>storage>disk management
your drive should be listed there if windows sees it, if it is not a valid partition it will not show up in "My Computer" like the other drives. by valid patition, if you formatted it for linux or any file system other then windows knows or uses(fat or ntfs,...i know windows plans to release a new file system,but not on longhorn from what i hear).
anyway....if the drive shows up a new/raw/unformatted you can use the options provided by the disk management console to do what needs to be done.
