Help...front audio panel connections

I've just built a computer but I'm having problems with front panel audio connections.(Motherboard P4P800 De Luxe)


FROM
FRONT PANEL

MIC IN
MIC VCC
MIC GND
EAR L1
EAR R1
GND
EAR L2
EAR R2

P4P800 De Luxe
On Motherboard

MIC 2 AGND
MICPWR +5VA
LINE OUT R B LINE OUT R
NC (NO PIN)
LINE OUT L B LINE OUT L

I can get audio at the back,it is the front panel i can not get to work.Any help would be gratly appreciated.

The only thing I know about front audio panel connections is, they have to be connected either to the board or to the backside panel. Often, there´s a cable, which is already connected to the inside of the frontside panel. In this case you have to connect the cable(s) to the backside panel to get the frontside panel to work. I know this is weird, but I experienced that problem myself already two times. It worked like that.

According to the manual, it appears you can't have audio at the front and rear simultaneously. You have to remove the jumpers to connect the front cable. This disconnects the rear sockets, so it seems.
