Mainboard Trouble

For over a month i've been trying to set up a new motherboard on my WinXP Pro system. I'm very familiar with this process, as i've done it before. The board itself is not the problem-- it's WinXP. WinXP refuses to boot when it recognizes the new BIOS and suspects foul play (piracy). There must be some way around this. Anyone have any ideas?
The error message I get is along the lines of "there is a corrupt file and windows can not boot. Please repair the file by copying it from the Windows CD." I boot from CD, but not luck as the set up program freezes. I'm very frustrated with this. Please help!

Thats one of the many reasons im not using XP.

If you drastically change your system like you your motherboard, It thinks illegal things are going on, and locks itself. Use your old HD, to format the computer. And make it think its a totally fresh install from a totally new computer.

It's the only way. Or use a better version of windows, EG 2K Pro

Have you been pleased with Win 2000 Pro? I'm thinking about switching to that soon.
