monitors menu started randomly opening and closing itself for no apparent reason

monitor menu started randomly opening,controlling and closing itself for no apparent reason...and then stays and i cannot control it..(this the menu of the monitor) my monitor is philips 107E

Simple test, if you're monitor does this when using it, unplug the VGA from the back of the Pc and see if the menu stays on.

If it does, could be a faulty monitor, try and auto reset it, or recall which ever option you have.
