After installing LAN card PC crashes

Hi guys,

I have a lan card which I installed on my PC last night, and then I turned on the PC. The problem is that after turning it on it makes a very strange beepy sound, nothing appers on the screen(I guess the problem is with the Vide card), and the PC just hangs... I mean the cd starts blinking just for a while then the floppy, bt nothing happens any more. Any help wiuld be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Just to add, I later removed the new Lan-card but it did not help. Then I stopped the machine for abou 5 minutes and turned it on without the lan card again - It started perfectly. Then I tried to insert the lan card again in the slot, but the problem appeared and till now i can't resolve it - even if I remove my new Lan card same behaviour.
