You need to provide some more info - like why you think it can be done - was the TV sold as "suitable for computer" - etc -?
What model TV is it - this is essential info - - how else can we help?
Do you have the TV manual - which leads you believe it can be done?

In normal circumstances what you want to do, can't be done the scanning techniques and resolution are so different it's not suitable...although on the face of it it is an "Attractive" proposition...when you look into the technical specs it is just not on, that's my take, sorry.
