memory card reader problems

hi guys,

i have an HP pavillion t775 with a 9in1 memory card reader built in.

i tried to use it for the first time today and it doesnt work.

i stuck my mmc card in the slot - it lights up green but i cant access it on the pc.

any suggestions?

i tried the usb port on the reader - it works fine but the memory card slots dont seemto

You need to provide yr system details...and hardware set-up....
With my win98SE set-up a memory reader shows up (using USB) as a series of "drives" obviously only inserted ones have any data - but they look just like any removable data...a series of files inside.

I wonder if you need to "enable" the reader?
