unable to play any game, can u help?

i am currently experiencing a lot of trouble loading any game, when i try to load them i get a blank screen then i have to restart any ideas? here are my specs;

i would b very greatful for ANY advise

i tried another hdd with win xp on but still, my sound card is in device manager but when i go to sounds and multi, the playback device and everything is greyed! i am now unable to load my cd rom device driver so im stuck what can i dooooo?
