Using 2 Seperate Computers as 1 SUPER Computer

I was up in my room a few days ago and hooked both of my computer's up only a few feet from eachother because i only had one moniter and didnt want to bum my parents. As i was looking through both my computers, i thought that it would be so cool if i could hook up the two computers together. I mean, use both CPU's, both hard drives, Both sets of RAM, both EVERYTHING, but have it operate like it was only one computer.

Im not too computer savy, so i dont know if such a program or anything exists. Is there any way to do anything like what i am thinking about??

Not at all possible is my answer. While you can certainly buy a system with two processors on the same mobo, what you're advocating is entirely different. If it were possible it would surely already have been done, since hundreds of families have more than one PC. So why have I never seen any reference to it in my 15 years of computing (other than this thread)? It's a non-starter, except perhaps if you have an electronics degree and two computers you can afford to fry!
