Frozen Cursor

My cursor is frozen in the middle of the screen. And my mousepad doesn't seem to do anything.

I have a Toshiba Satellite.

I was on the phone and my cat "might" have hit a few keys, and isn't telling.

I can only turn the computer on and off via the blue button.

What can I do??

Suggestions are greatly appreciated.
