USB Flash Drive folder contents GONE!

Hey, I recently purchased an OCZ Rally2 4GB USB flash drive at Newegg.com. I've had it for a few weeks now, and I absolutely love it! It's been really great up until a day or two ago.

I have a folder in the drive called "projects." Most of the files kept in there are php files or html files and whatnot for web projects I'm working on. I had three different folders within that one, for each of the three "projects" I was working on. Well the other day, I plugged it in, and those three folders were gone!

Well I thought maybe I had inadvertently deleted them. Luckily, they were projects I had stored on the web, so I downloaded them back to my flash drive.

That was a few days ago. Today, I plugged it in and found that the three folders were still there, but they were empty! How in the hell can this be happening? No other folders on the thumb drive seem to have this problem, just this one. Granted, I am working in this folder more than often than any of the others, so it is a good chance that it is human error, but why would I accidentally go into three separate folders, and delete all their contents?!

Anyone seen this happen before?
