graphics/display problem

Hi

hopfully some one can help me one of my laptops is sick....

it is a Toshiba 2100 running xp pro sometimes the display will fade to a septa type screen and lock up for a minite or so then go back to normal and then repeat some times its fine all day sometines it will do this cycle as soon as I turn it on !!!!!

this is driving me crazy it just started about a week ago and is getting worse

my gatway is fine and I have the same programs in both computers
