video capture cards

can anyone please give me some advice ,what would be a good capture card at the lower end of the price range.
Pinnacle dc10+ seemed good until i read it ran into probs with sis chips
then a freind said to just get leadtek winfast a180 ddr tdh my vivo- please all comments appreciated as i have little experience
