Unhappy Graphics Card Woes

Here goes. I dont know when or how it started but for some reason my graphics in games seem strange. Ok for example in half life some textures have loads of white squares. tiny but there. they seem to fluctuate as i move around like pixilated. This happened in Plantside the most where the screen without warning fills with loads of horizontal lines and the screen is almost unuseable. Again loads of white pixels on the floor and on textures and shadows seem effected, when i most mouse to the right shadows appear say on a car. move mouse left they vanish. like a window wiper, me wiping out shadows. Its happened all of a sudden, i thought it was planetside but no one else seems to have complained and how can this effect half life? ive tried opengl and direct3d modes. ive updated my NVIDIA TI4400 graphics card to the latest drivers. (Allthought i didnt wanna get directx 9a)
still it does it. im at a total loss and its driving me round the bend. Please i hope someone can assist me:confused

First of all you should try installing the latest direct x version. If that doesn't work you should remove the drivers for the ti4400 and there is a program called nvidia file remover 0.6 that will completely remove all traces of any drivers you have tried. Here's the download.
NvidiaFileRemover

have you tgryed to chenge your drivers what ones are you using amybe go back to using 30.82 i think they are, they are very god drivers and a lot of people seem more comfortable with them than later drivers released.

also have you checked the heat on your graphic acrd as heat can cause exactly what you are describing what fan is on the gfx card, you should check it out mate as heat may be your problem.

and also it could be your acrd itself sad to say but it does happen have you got any warrenty left on it??

but mostly check the heat on your card make sure the fan is working properly also is there good circulation were yopur acrd is sitting??

try diff Nvidia drivers do what ZIPP51 told you to and get rid of al traces of the old drivers before you download other ones.

goodlook mate

here is some good tools to help get rid of detonator drivers
