problems with motherboard or procesor

i have a new computer, it s a dual core processor and the motherboard was initially foxconn socket 775, i have tried an bios update and after i reboot the computer it did not started , so i bought another motherboard INTEL and after i had done the instalation with the old procesor it started but in aprox.20 min when i wanted to install windows i heard a sound like 3 beeps (usually in this cases from what i know is the graphics,but i don't think so) and after that it died. So if you can help me please tell what can i do, because i am going crazy.

It Could Also mean that the ram you have isn't functional or is not enough!!!It shouldn't be the proccesor if it is the graphics card then it should have one long beep followed by two short beeps otherwise if it is just three short beeps then it is a ram problem!!!

It is, like tarleton wrote, a RAM problem.

3 x Beep == Base 64 KB Memory Failure. Pleasy turn off your PC and remove the power plug cable. You should check if the RAM chips are correctly plugged to the motherboard.
