not another sound problem!!!!!!

i just built my first system. it is a cheapo Pcchips m930lr motherbard with sis645 chipset, P4 2.2 ghz, and onboard sound (CMI 9738 sound chip) which is giving me a fit. It is making noises which directly correspond to different parts running- like the hard drive and fans and the processor. i have replaced the driver with every file known to man, including the generic one from SIS, and the noises won't stop. i have also tried moving the cards around to see if the chip was picking up interference from one of them. moved all the wires around, and moved the speakers just to be sure.
