video card problems?/?

video card problems?/?

when i start my pc the screen remain black/everything else seems to work normally/hdd/mouse/keyboard/sound... .i don't receive any error sound from motherboard
the monitor say<no signal . do i need to change the video card?

If it's plugged in to the motherboard, then it could be a motherboard problem so it's an onboard card.

But if it's plugged in to an AGP / PCi slot, replace the card.
But also swap test the monitor just incase.

the videocard is a evga superclocked 512mb/256bus nvidia 7950

i check the monitor on another unit and it work fine
