I'm new to RAID 0 but here's what my manual for my motherboard says:

I have a MSI P6N Diamond, you should download your manual too:

1. If you have 2 HD put them on SATA 6 & 7 (not the 1-5)
2. Short the board buy taking out the little plastic thingy
3. Go to the Bios and enable RAID
4. if you want to boot from the RAID there are slightly different step but essentially you have to type F10 when prompted and set the assign Free Disk to Array Disk. RAID 0 is synonymous with STRIPING.
5. Install nVidia Raid driver
6. I personally had two new HD so I had to format and freshly install Windows XP. It as an F6 option to install the RAID driver here.

I know some of these steps are very MSI brand specific but you get the idea I hope. Get the manual to your MB if you can. Know that there's a difference between "hardware" RAID and "software" RAID.
