Hard Drive Problems On Toshiba Satellite A15-S157
Alright, I'll try to give the shortest most direct way of stating my problem. Recently I got a virus that crashed my entire hard drive. Around the same time (within a few days before) my CD-Rom drive broke. The virus now won't even let me start my computer, it just keeps restarting itself before it can get to the Windows screen with the pre-loading bar. I bought a new USB Cd-Rom drive and a new hard drive. My computer won't recognize my new cd-rom drive because windows wasn't able to detect it before my computer crashed. I tried just switching out the old hard drive with the new hard drive and I'm still getting the same error message right at start-up. The error message states: "PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable. PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel Boot Agent. Insert system disk in drive. Press any key when ready..." I can't just simply pop in the recovery CD that came with my lappy because my cd-rom drive is broke and the new one isn't being recognized. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
