wireless router problem!? plz help

ok so iv just reset my router bcoz i lost my username and i went through the recommended settings it gave me and now when i go 2 connect it says the settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network it wont let me get 2 the website where i login 2 my router at the moment i am connected to the internet through a unsecured network it the only way i can get help. iv tried restarting the router several times. also my router is d-link

I'm not a great supporter of wireless, but I would run the network setup wizard as a first step.
You will find it in "my network places", or start/accessories/communications

The router would have a default pass that you need to enter to gain access to it's web interface. It also defaults to a set ip. They will be documented, or marked somewhere on it.

Are you using DHCP to set the IP address? Maybe the IP addresses were set when you had the router working before, and now that it's reset, it's causing a conflict.. Just a thought..
