When you say you can't uninstall it, do you mean that it isn't listed in "Add/Remove Software"? Can you find the original installation directory and see if there's an "uninstall" exe?
If neither, then I'd suggest that it's pretty safe just to find the installation directory and delete it.
You might want to run a registry checker to remove any residual registry entries pertaining to it afterwards.
(Emptying the recycle bin after deletion will regain your disk space.)
