Computer Wont Start! Please Help!!!

Hello, I've been having a problem recently at first my computer would just reboot out of nowhere, sometimes it would run fine a couple days but sometimes it would reboot consistantly, even to the point that its not all the way booted and reboots again. I used a can of compressed air and dusted out the inside and it seemed to work better but now its a week later and it started doing it again, but this last time it wont come back on. All the fans work but thats it, not even any white text on the black screen in the beginning, no system beep, nothing! Tried putting in a new hardrive and still nothing. Could my computer have been overheating the whole time and now its burnt out, is there a way to fix that? Any help or advice is GREATLY appreciated! Its a p4 3.2ghz 2gb ram winxp

Thanks in advance!

If you happen to have a spare power supply lying around, it might be a good idea to try it because your problem could be a bad power supply.

try starting it in safe mode with the old hard drive to see if it will get you into running checks etc.

You probably have an overheating problem. How familiar are you
with removing and cleaning the CPU and heatsink then, reassembling
with the proper amount of CPU thermal paste?

Also, as davedarkstar2 advised use the old hard drive and safe mode.
