Can't find suitable drivers for AC'97 82801FB

Hello everybody,
After a format a new XP pro SP2 install I'm missing my audio cotroller and modem controller driver, which are the same version. I tried millions of drivers and even installing SP3, even tried reinstalling windows again, reformatting the drive before that as well, but nothing helped.

Sorry, I hope that's not inapropriate to post the whole everest report here, but still I really, really hope you help me on this one.
As Everest and other programs like PC Wizard and Astra32 say, it's the 82801FB AC'97 codec that's missing. Even both audio cotroller and modem cotroller with the same version are missing.
When trying to install drivers that are supposed to fit, I from time to time get the code 10 message (can't start this hardware), which might indicate that there is a conflict between hardware or simply drivers don't fit.
I'm lost in guesses and have no hope whatsoever left!
Please help me people
I thank you in advance!

Here is the Everest report:

It is kinda early here and maybe too much information there for me to process at this time, but I don't see anything in there that says what brand of computer it is or if it is a desktop or laptop.

The best thing to do is go to the manufacturer's website and download the propper drivers for your system.

Judging by your chipset I am assuming that you have a laptop. I found info on Intel's website and found info on your chipset.......

http://support.intel.com/support/chi.../CS-020149.htm

It gave a link to download drivers for that chipset here....

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx

That should be all the drivers you need.

I hope I was able to help.

Ren

Thank you Ren for your answer, appreciate it.
But it was no help
It's a laptop and the manufacturer is Arima M622UCX If we go to their page, we find out, that there is a support for some laptops they produce, but not for the one I have! It's though possible to find a page where they kinda "admit" that they have produced this laptop with some to no info at all, no drivers, no nothing
As I was saying before, I found a lot of drivers that seem to fit, but I get this message: code 10 = Cannot start this hardware I'm also missing the modem controller driver, which is the same version with the audio cotroller, as I suppose, this is one hardware, because modem kinda uses audio chipset in a way right.
If I go and choose drivers for audio controller myself, (not choosing search, but choosing the drivers manually) then system admits them, and after a restart I get no error message, no code 10 message, nothing, everything seems to work, device manager is ok and I even have this speaker logo in the tray, but there is no sound, whatsoever
Please people, again I say, that I can provide you with any addditional information, I'm an IT guy myself, just in a bit different sphere.
p.s. Ren the second link you gave me was to intel's download page, how would that help me? You think I haven't tried downloading drivers for my chipset of of intel's? I have But thank anyways!

Thank you Monty007 for your answer, but once again it was no help at all
The link that you provided was to another motherboard, Arima but different version, sound drivers that are there, are accepted by Windows, but I still get this: Cannot Start This Hardware (code 10) error.
I'm desperate
Big thank in advance to everyone who replies.
P.S. Can administrators move this thread to where it belongs, or should I do it manually myself?

Monty007 I've spent a couple of days in search for the right drivers, of course I found the Arima homepage, and of course I found out that there is no support for this particular mother board! As a matter of fact, if you read my previous posts, you would have understood, that I've done it, I've alredy written about it! And why download SIW??? Astra32 or Everest are much better programs!!! All M/B details are in my previous posts!!!
Please people, if you are really willing to help, please read my posts carefully.
I know that on this forum there is a guru like Barbara, please if you read this, you have tried to help me once, in vain but still, I appreciated that, please if you read this, please reply!
Once again any help is deeply appreciated!

Thumbs down

What am I doing wrong???
I've provided as much info as possible.
My question/problem is clear.
I don't know what else. I always answer when somebody replies.
I've asked if the thread can be moved y moderators to the appropriate one.
And still, still nothing! Nothing at all!
I begin to loose hope for STandT
