TV Tuner not being detected

My computer was recently upgraded from XP media center to Vista Home Premium. I love the Vista, except that when I go in the Media Center and try to set up the tv signal, I am told that no tuner hardware was detected. I opened up the computer, but I really don't know what I'm looking at to know if there is a problem with connection. In the device manager, the only thing with an exclamation point is "other devices" --> "multimedia video controller". I am not sure if these two problems are related. I have no idea what the tuner is called, how to look for it in the system, or how to find a driver download. Sony told me to put XP back on, but I'd like to stick with Vista if I can. Can anyone help me?

If your computer came with the tv card can you list the model number, someone can probably look up the model and find what card it uses and perhaps the driver.
When you upgraded to Vista the driver was probably unknown to its legacy driver support and it is most likely the "multimedia video controller" listed in the device manager that isnt installed.
