HP Color Laserjet Printer 2840

I want to print resumes on heavier card stock paper that has an 8X10 photo on one side and it keeps jamming and when it works it's only by hit or miss with one photo at a time. Is there a capability to smoothly print heavier paper and to print more than one at a time?
