Viewsonic LCD 22" resolution problems

I just got a viewsonic 22" model VX2235wm -- the suggested resolution is 1680x1050 but placed on this resolution the screen is too wide (i.e. either the start button doesn't show or the clock doesn't show). I have a new NVIDIA Quadro 3450/4000 and am running a tweaksrus driver installed about a year ago (only driver that works with Animation Master, been afraid to change but in another post I'm trying to figure out which driver I need.).

Anyone have any ideas?

This problem relates to your video driver. The driver you are running is a generic driver. What you can do is if you still have the generic driver save it somwhere safe or download it from the net then get the latest driver from nVidia.
